Challenge

In search of the acoustic equivalent of the visual SRF logo

We were commissioned to develop a clearly recognizable acoustic fingerprint for SRF. The aim was to create a sound identity that fits harmoniously into the moving image and audio media, picks up on the existing sound design and creates additional orientation and familiarity within the SRF offering. The result was the foundation of an independent and recognizable SRF sound world.

As a first step, we collected and systematically analyzed several hundred audio elements from TV, radio and online offerings. In doing so, we were able to identify formative and already established sound components that shape the existing acoustic profile of SRF. From this basis, we developed a sonic DNA that strengthens the brand values and contributes to long-term recognizability.

Result

One sound signature for all SRF channels

The resulting SRF sound logo summarizes this essence in a clear, reduced motif. It can be used flexibly and works in both existing and new productions. It thus becomes a unifying acoustic element that makes SRF audible across all channels.
