That's what our sound designers sound like when they're in the middle of the creative process. Who needs instruments or sound programmes when you have a mouth? during our work for Scout24, we had the brilliant idea of taking their so-called marker/sketch branding literally and simply using our unfiltered sound sketches as the basis for the concept. the principle of ‘mouth sketching’ is closely linked to the visual concept of Scout24's new design. In the past, interesting advertisements in newspapers were highlighted with a marker - the new corporate design picks up on this principle and uses markers to emphasise the essentials. In the same way that you mark with a pen, our audio expert imitates the sounds with his mouth. For example, a car is imitated by a ‘Brrrrr’. This creative technique makes it possible to create a soundscape that perfectly underscores the visual highlights of the brand. For each Scout24 sub-brand, we have developed individualised mouth sketches that represent the core and content of the respective brand.

In addition to the sound logos, we have developed flexible sound guidelines to ensure that Scout24's acoustic identity remains consistent yet customisable. Our specially developed Music Mixer tool will enable the Scout24 teams to mix individual and brand-appropriate soundscapes in future. The Music Mixer contains an individual mouth-sketching track for each sub-brand, which reflects the respective brand core and thus strengthens the acoustic recognisability.
