BESSEY
Brand Sound Production
A sound with history
Making a tool manufacturer acoustically recognizable without relying on clichés requires a clear and functional sound concept. The new audio logo for BESSEY wasn’t meant to feel artificial – it had to emerge from the product itself. So we began our search right where the heart of BESSEY beats: in the workshop. We recorded various tools, analyzed their mechanical characteristics, and looked for a sonic identity that truly fits BESSEY.
Slide to the end stop
The decisive moment came when picking up a screw clamp. Not by chance – because BESSEY is the inventor of the screw clamp as we know it today. And it was precisely the sound of sliding the moving arm to the end stop that was so distinctive and familiar, it became the foundation of the audio logo.
From this motion and its characteristic sound, a reduced, functional sound concept was created – one that integrates seamlessly into the brand communication. Technically precise, clear, yet with unmistakable recognition value.
